we don’t really want *you* to see our website

<-Relevare | Bringing the right information, to the right people->

I decided to learn more about a robot I logged. But their website is content-free unless you have Flash.

I can read the title of the page, and can only assume I’m not the “right people.”

I thought it was an old (and bad) design practice to assume every user wants all-singing all-dancing content. Evidently the bright sparks at Relevare know better . . . .

It’s far from buzzword-free, though: this is the kind of stuff you get from a buzzword generator.

<meta name=”description” content=”Relevare – Customised information vortals for businesses via graphical iconic interfaces”>
<meta name=”keywords” content=”relevare, vortals, icons, relevant, customised interfaces, customized interfaces, interfaces, interface design, mayfair, indexing, content, vertical portals, iconic, vortals, iconic vortals, information, knowledge”>

An old chestnut that addresses this topic nicely: Flash is evil.
