one man’s trash

Welcome to Use It Again, Seattle!

in some cases is still trash.

I went to my local “Use it again, Seattle” event this morning, and it was a bit disappointing. Lots of, well, junk. I expected some of that, of course, but most of the stuff I saw seemed unlikely to be re-used.

I took over an old Mac (Centris 610 with PowerPC upgrade card), an old AppleTalk postscript printer, and a set of Corning glass pots and pans. The tech stuff I could have taken to RE-PC, I guess.

There seemed to be some regular shoppers there: I shudder to think of how their homes are furnished.
