I only need one, and it’s the last thing he mentions. Privatizing and raising the price of clean drinking water will do more to turn back the clock to the 1500s than anything I can think of.

I’m with Atrios on this: I think it’s not that we have too many kooks but too few. I would like to see a wider range of political opinion to better define where the center, right, and left really are.

Seriously, Google is obviously a threat. And anytime it has a presence on the desktop, I’m sure the innovators at MSFT will be thinking of ways to compete, as only they know how.
