I am working through the backlog of pictures — both chrome slides and b&w negatives — and may share a few from time to time.
an old barn, somewhere in the Smoky Mountains (most likely Cades Cove, a place I spent a lot of time with a camera).
a mossy rock, protruding from a small waterfall. Exposure detail unrecorded, but obviously a couple of seconds exposure.
leaf. rock. water.
Agricultural abstract, taken in Bermuda, June 1995. When I took this out of the box, I had no idea what it was. Wasn’t clear til I saw the scan preview.
Another I couldn’t make sense of. Regrettably, adjusting the levels to bring detail into the border elements reducing the brilliance of the water. Ideally (ie, if I had skills), this would be well-served by merging two scans that maximize both the water and the rocks. Somewhere in Bermuda, June 1995.
Rocks in the surf as some weather blows in, Bermuda, June 1995. If you’re catching a hint of pink in that sand, it’s not your imagination.
