I’ll have to enquire what that’s about, but my initial reaction is one of horror. Perhaps it’s possible to use rpm in a safe and non-destructive way, but I have yet to see it. What was wrong with the Debian tools, I wonder? Sure, they were non-intuitive, but they had the distinct benefit of actually working.
