routing (the old kind)

Google maps plotted different routes for me to go from Mt Rainier to Olympia, based on whether I start inside the park or outside.

    Bizarre. I’ve narrowed it down to a difference of a few feet: long route, short route. Interestingly, if you reverse the directions for the long route, it gives you the short route. I wonder what’s up with that?
